We welcome WIMA Nicaragua, our 39th division and the second division in Central America after Mexico. Yolanda Acuña, the National President works for an organization called Project Miriam whose one objective is to contribute to the integral development of women and promote right to education a life free of violence. Yolanda and her team of six ladies aims to motivate, encourage women to ride and break traditional belief that women should not ride.

We are happy to welcome WIMA Liechtenstein!

Although it is the sixth-smallest country in the world, with its picturesque castles and beautiful landscape it is perfect for motorcycling! And Sonja Grass, the National President is confident that she will get together a beautiful group of women riders. Sonja was born in Austria but has been living in Liechtenstein for 25 years now. She has been riding for more than 34 years and loves her bike, a Harley Davidson EVO Fist 1340. Her inspiration was WRWR (April 18th 2019) which she found to be a fascinating event and led her to the idea to found WIMA division and make the country party of the world of women riders.

This is the 38th division and we trust that we will continue to grow and support women riders around the world.

Welcome Mona-Lise Nørgaard Gamst-Halle, new national president of WIMA Denmark as of November 3rd

We are pleased to congratulate Mona-Lise Nørgaard Gamst-Halle for taking over the role of National President for WIMA Denmark. Mother of 4 and 6 years old girls, Mona has ridden motorcycles for over 10 years. She currently rides a Honda Goldwing 1200 with a sidecar. She travels with family and enjoys the feel of freedom while riding. Her plan is to grow WIMA Denmark to become strong again. Next year she with a team of 10 people are planning to organize the 2021 edition of what in Denmark is called “Børnetræf” which is a rally for families who ride together with their children (often younger kids). We wish her and her team Cindie Johannesson and Helle Jensen good luck!!
